Six day work weeks... When am I going to get anything done?

No Quarter/Friday

Spent a considerable part of today driving around with Led Zeppelin up loud. Sometimes I forget how good certain songs are... Also found a pretty set of stairs owned by a sweet old lady, who filled me in on gardening.

I'd dress like Jimi every goddamn day if I could. I'd especially like one of those blazers with the flowers.

Half day

 

Yay morning off! Perfect weather and that means hanging on the farm, doing a bit of drawing, playing with the puppies, drinking instant coffee and checking out my terrarium... I'm not sure yet if you can have moss and succulents in the same place. But we'll see...

So... altogether, and the last one alone.

I haven't done any backgrounds because I'm unhappy with the abstract watercolours I've been using... going to start working on something new when I get a second. Six day work week isn't the best for creative pursuits...

Friday, but Sunday

I know it's not Friday anymore but I've been flat out since then, and for all the busy-ness seem to have not achieved much.
Yesterday I worked as an actual proper press photographer, which was fun and intense and I ended up with killer wind/sun burn. Every couple of months I get psyched on photography, and then I realise I suck at it and go back to normal.
Today I'm finishing up a proper drawing, not one that I quickly ripped out in between work commitments on a Friday afternoon... so I'll be back with that later.
And maybe some photos, cookies, terrariums, puppies... That's what else is going down today.
