Yay new phone! Instagram! And new drawing!

I know I'm super-slow on the adapt here, but I'm on instagram now, raychponygold.

Vintage marketplace

So, as it turns out, bikes are really hard to draw. In fact, I probably don't remember the last time I drew an entire person, with feet and everything, either. But we got there! 

For the past few weeks, I've been stringing together some time to work on this drawing for the lovely Kate of Vintage Marketplace, and I'm so pleased (and surprised) that it's finished and it looks OK... The last commission piece I did, it took a year from the day we first discussed it to when it was actually finished. I'm a notorious procrastinator.
But check it out, there is plenty of fine vintage clothing to be had... like some serious serious-good pieces... here.

Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves

Well, its no secret how I feel about Harper Smith. Or velvet clothing... or goats, for that matter. So of course, how could I resist an editorial with all of those things?

I'm avidly watching a massive frog eating beetles on my windowsill... He's swollen up he's so full.

Colours! 

I'm finishing things... like drawings and books I've been trying to read for about three months. And my job, which I will be leaving in mid-January to head down to Melbourne. Which I guess means I'm finishing my stint on the farm, at home. Finishing up with my old phone too, and my car, eventually. I always choose the hectic time to do everything at once. 

I can't wait until Christmas and New Year, its going to be fun.

Flat rock

Sorry I've been out of step with art/personal posts... believe it or not, I'm doin' stuff, which seems to never leave room for doin' other stuff.

I'll be back soon with new drawings that I can't wait to complete/share, in the meantime I'm just stopping by to let you know I'm having a really excellent time, not doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
