Harley boots via eBay; op-shop flask, Levi jacket, and glasses; markets hat, and crystal and copper necklace; Pony Gold ceramic necklace; boyfriend's Doors shirt; vintage jewellery and jewellery dish; handmade ceramic eye pot; and Fear and Loathing at Rolling Stone

I've been making tiny ceramic things... Not really sure where I'm going with them, but it's such a strange brain-relief to work with something I don't know how to control properly.
Granted, I'm still clearing up the communication lines between my hands and my mind when I draw, but most of the time I can push my pen into creating something kinda in sync with my mind.
With clay, on the other had, it's an unholy mess that challenges me to think harder, persevere, be uncomfortable and just really kind of suck at something.
Which makes it a whole lot more rewarding.
I'm really looking forward to just this little bit more spare time to experiment and grow with my weirder creativity.

Getting closer to freedom all the time... Working hard on commissions so more and more personal work can creep in.
Happy days.
Also enjoying sitting in front of the heater, drinking cider and notating Creedence inspiration; furiously chasing down too-many-ideas // not-enough-time.

Levy & scorpion, 2013.
Playing with ideas is proving super fun, discovering da levy has been cool too... there's still so much more to learn and see and hear and do, all the time.
Keep going.

We've just rolled over into the winter months here... which means it's time to seek light, blooms and illumination wherever you can Δ to wear more leather, boots and faux fur Δ to build fires at any opportunity and sit around, drinking whiskey and zoning out Δ to drive north in search of warmer climates Δ to create furiously  Δ to head into the wilds and soak up sun Δ  to discover new poets and artists and musicians  Δ to get serious about tea and honey, and hot chocolate and soy  Δ to go out and buy more coats, more boots, more hats and more rings...

Lenni lookbook part one
Photography: Brett Rutkowski
Model: Mimi

So, this is exciting.
And also one of the things that has been keeping me busy over the past few months.
I put together a couple of illustrations for Australian designer Lenni, who has totally on-point creative vision and is just an all-round sweetheart to collaborate with.
I always find it so amazing to see where designers take my illustrations, and Lenni has done a killer job with them.
Anyway, you can shop/pre-order it all here and check out the full shoot here (and also stay tuned for part two, in days to come).
